What is the most important record in sports history?

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I, along with most true sports fans have long considered baseball’s homerun record the most hallowed(important) sports record around. Now that all of baseball’s stats have been tainted by steriods (especially Barry Binds and the HR record) what do you think is the most impprtant sports record around?

Most IMPORTANT?

I don’t think any sports record is important.

Which is most IMPRESSIVE? There’s a BIG difference.

The most impressive is the record for MOST record setting career home runs.

When Babe Ruth set the career Home Run Record, it was like 250. When he finished the career record was 714… so basically he hit about 460 record home runs. He was esentially THREE TIMES the home run hitter of anyone that had played the game before him.

In order to match that record, a player would have to hit about 1200 home runs… which will NEVER happen.

Second most impressive? Cy Young’s 511 wins.

Or maybe it’s UCLA’s win streak?

Johnny Van Der Meer’s two consecutive no-hitters? You may not be impressed, but when will ANYBODY throw three in a row and break it?

How do I get my doctor to let me get HGH therapy?

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I am a 17 year old boy, really short. I really want to get HGH therapy, because I know there is hope it can increase my height. I need a really good reason to convince my doctor to get me the therapy, what should I say? I know just telling him I want to grow a few inches isn’t going to do it, so what is the best excuse? Please help, I’m in desperate need.

Firstly, I’d like to ask how you "know" that HGH will help you. It doesn’t help all short people become taller at all. It only helps some people — those who have a proven deficiency in that hormone.

Have you had blood work that shows that you are deficient in HGH? If not, you really need to have that done before you decide that it would help you. There are also other symptoms of growth hormone deficiency. They are: increased fat around the waist and in the face, looking younger than other boys your age, a delayed onset of puberty — in other words, if you haven’t hit puberty yet, delayed tooth development — do you have all of your permanent teeth?, low energy, decreased strength, decreased exercise tolerance, decreased muscle mass, weight gain, and anxiety or depression.

If you have all or most of the above symptoms then speak with your doctor and ask him to refer you to a pediatric endocrinologist.

Good luck.

How would health insurance businesses be able to stay viable if the Senate bill is passed?

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

As I understand it, the bill forces all Americans to have health insurance. However, I think that the fine for having no health insurance is around $750. But after the year 2014, health insurance companies will not be able to turn customers away for preexisting conditions. Why wouldnt someone pay the fine or buy low end coverage until they got ill and supplement the coverage or buy an extensive plan?

i htought the main reason of living in a society was to help each other out, am i wrong?

What sports/physical activities are good for someone with Cystic Fibrosis?

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

I want to get my daughter involved in some good sports/physical activities. She’s only 3 years old. She has Cystic Fibrosis. We live in New York and walk a lot, she gets out of breath often when we go for walks and walk up hills. But the doctors say its good for her to have to work her lungs. What are the best sports and other physical activities I should get her involved in?

Regular exercise improves the health of people who have cystic fibrosis. Exercise helps loosen mucus, encourages coughing, improves oxygen flow, and makes you feel better. Upper body exercises, such as swimming or rowing, increase the strength and endurance of the muscles that are used for breathing.

After talking to your doctor about how much exercise is good for your child, encourage your child to participate in sports and recreational activities. Team sports are great ways for your child to stay fit and to interact with other children. Talk to the coach or supervisor about your child’s abilities and the important role of physical activity in the treatment of cystic fibrosis.

Some people who have cystic fibrosis may not be strong enough to participate in certain activities. Your doctor can recommend the right amount and type of exercise for you. Or, you may work with a physical therapist to develop your own exercise routine.

Is HGH precursors safe to take for teenagers?

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

I was just wondering if HGH precursors were safe to take for frequently working out teenage boys. Around 16-18. I understand a precursor will just stimulate the pituitary gland to produce HGH so these supplements could not possibly cause the body to have too much HGH, right? Also, is it even necessary for someone at that age to be taking these precursors. What affects could they expect from taking it?

To maximized natural HGH production, control your insulin levels. HGH won’t be produced (with or without a precursor – which I’d have to do a LOT of research before taking) if you have high insulin levels.

Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereal, pasta, potatoes, rice) triggers insulin. As long as you remain <9 grams of carbs per hour, you will maintain insulin control. High insulin levels unbalance other hormones. Controlling your insulin level will balance out other hormones & allow the sex hormones (testosterone in males) and human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced.

What to do the night before a physical fitness test the next morning?

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

I have a PT Physical Fitness test tomorrow morning for a job, it includes the following: 1.5 Mile run, Maximum Push-ups, Timed 1-minute situps, the sit and reach, the vertical jump. Does anyone have any advice for what to do the night before? Please advise.

just relax. Eat a good healthy meal. Get at least 8 hours of rest. In the morning eat some oatmeal, plain, that way you can get some carbs into your body. Don’t drink milk otherwise it can curdle and you will get sick.

3 Steps to Life Insurance

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

Are you trying to figure out if you should buy life insurance? The insurer (the life insurance company) estimates the policy premiums with intent to fund claims to be paid and administrative costs, and to make a profit. The price of insurance is determined using mortality tables calculated by actuaries. Actuaries are professionals who utilize actuarial science, which is based in mathematics (primarily probability and statistics). Mortality tables are statistically-based tables expressing anticipated annual mortality rates. It is possible to derive life expectancy figures from these mortality assumptions. Such estimates can be critical in taxation regulation.

Life insurance extends a way to replace the loss of income that occurs when someone perishes (usually the person who makes the majority of income in a family situation). It is a contract between you as the insured person and the company or ‘carrier’ that is furnishing the insurance. If you die while the contract is in force, the insurance company gives a specified sum of money free of income tax — ‘cash benefits’ — to the person or persons you determine as beneficiaries.

The biggest choice you’ll have is term life insurance vs. whole life insurance. A whole life insurance policy is appropriate for you if you are in the process of planning your estate and have the money available to pay higher monthly premiums. These policies also allow you to invest, borrow and even make withdrawals from your policy’s cash value. However, whole life is much more expensive that term.
If you’re in the market for life insurance, you have two simple options you will choose between term life insurance vs. whole life insurance for some term life insurance may be the only choice because of the affordability

Life insurance quotes are readily available at places like www.insurancequotesguidebook.com Life insurance companies ordinarily base their insurance premiums on the risks of insuring a person. This is also the same grounds why the quotes of term life insurance increase as the insured individual’s age increase. The chance that a person will die at any given point in time increases in proportion with the person’s increase in age. The older a person gets, the more likely his death is to come.
Term life insurance quotes are normally less than any other type of insurance because term life insurance covers an insured individual for only a determined term of coverage. Whole life insurance, on the other hand, covers the whole life of a person and guarantees the policyholder that his beneficiaries will be paid a death benefit anytime he dies within his lifetime. What is the proper way to wear a sports bra?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

If I want to go to the gym in just a sports bra, how do I wear it lol?

Like do I wear the sports bra and the sports bra alone? Because it seems like everyone else does that, but I can’t. My boobs (C cup, not huge, but still) jiggle around too much and it hurts.
OR, do I wear a regular bra underneath my sports bra. I never see anyone do that, but it’s the only way I’m comfortable running..

Help lol?

I usually wear a regular bra under a sports bra. It’s the best for better support.

Does anyone know where to get HGH injections for Growth?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

I am 16 years old and around 5 foot 8. I would like to grow taller and my parents are supporting me with the decision to take HGH. I know the cost and can afford HGH but I do not know where to get HGH prescribed. Can any one help me. Does anyone know where to get HGH?

A few things that help…
I was 5’1 at 27. now I am turning 28 in a month and I am 5’6. I grew the most during this summer because I actually started using super-growth 6 month course.
the following helped me and still help:
1) Drinking at least 2 big glasses of milk a day.
2.) playing basketball and going swimming. Basketball really helps, and you should also work out your calves and thigh muscles, that helps too.
3)Eat alot, because when I started to get taller I didn’t gain a pound but I looked skinnier.
4) http://www.super-growth.com this is another natural solution to grow taller and quicker
