well also soreness … well also soreness is the build up of lactic acids in the muscles that gather from not enough oxygen in the muscle during and after straining it
your problem is … your problem is that your exercises your muscles each day and that is a common mistake. you see after you exercise a certain muscle you tear that muscle and you need at least 1-2 days to give that muscle time to rest and repair itself. you also need to eat a lot of protein like meats, beans, whey protein shakes, eggs, peanut butter, etc. I recommend eating two boiled eggs before a work out but throw away the yolk because that contains a lot of fat and cholesterol. Sleep is very important.
it depends on the … it depends on the type of body that you have. a person with a very fast metabolism does not need to do cardio to build up the ab muscles.
soreness does not … soreness does not mean your muscles have teared. soreness is caused by DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) its when the little compartments in your muscles swell up and pinch your nerves. has nothing to do with recovery. but yes you shoul wait atleast 48 hours before doing the same muscle group.
This is the kind of … This is the kind of crap that’s out there. As a fitness professional, you should NEVER perform a sit-up. Rest is key, work abs 3x/wk….not 4-5 and def. not consecutive days of the week.

don’t work muscles … don’t work muscles until the soreness is gone. it’s sore cuz the muscle teared (which is supposed to happen) that way you know it’s building more muscle. you need protein for it to rebuild.
so basically you should wait 48 hours till you work out that same muscle
if you feel sore … if you feel sore from yesterday you shouldnt keep working abs .when your sore it means your growing , so not giveing you abs a rest will just keep your abs sore . its very important to let them rest
This is a terrible … This is a terrible ab workout. High rep work like this will lead to between zero and a very slight increase in muscle size. Contrary to popular belif the best way to get a six pack is by doing low rep (around 8), high weight (whatever weight allows you to perform 8 repititions with perfect form) exercises. For example: Weighted decline crunches. Of course this will only increase the size of your abs, you must have low body fat in order to see them.

It took me a while … It took me a while to start seeing definition in my abs. But little by little they started to show through. I dieted and barely did cardio, and hit my abs about 5x a week. Now (about 5 months later) I have the best abs of anyone I know. Nutrition is the key, you don’t need cardio if you eat right. It will help if you are VERY overweight, but it isn’t necessary if you are just flabby. Remember eat right, and do your ab routine (this one seems good, though it is not the one I do)
lol am 17 and i am … lol am 17 and i am 9 and a half stone, but now i am nerly 10 stone, what you need to do is EAT more. Double what you eat every day. you can start by doubling what you eat every breakfast, the carry on with lunch and dinner. workout before you eat!!.
And also do more running to burn fat. you will see great results.
I love the bent leg … I love the bent leg cross crunch myself. Great way to hit the obliques, upper, and middle abdominals. I use the ab workout at vastmuscle (.com) and they use the same type of exercises and I’ve seen great results.
